Belarusian Defense Ministry announces joint air exercises with Russia
The Belarusian Defense Ministry has announced joint tactical air exercises with Russia lasting from January 16 to February 1
The ministry’s press center announced the information.
"From January 16 to February 1, 2023, a joint tactical air exercise will be held between the aviation units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, which are part of the aviation component of the regional grouping of troops," the statement said.
On January 8, the aviation component of the Russian Aerospace Forces arrived in Belarus. All airfields and training grounds of Belarus’ Air Force and Air Defense Forces will reportedly be involved in the tactical air training.
- The Belarusian Hajun monitoring group reported that on the night of January 6-7, another echelon with Russian soldiers was deployed to Belarus.
