The spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, Ilia Yevlash, said that the threat of air attacks from Belarus cannot be ruled out
He said this during a telethon.
"We have already seen how the so-called Belarusian president provided territory for the Russian offensive during the beginning of a full-scale invasion. Of course, we do not rule out the possibility of air strikes from their territory," Yevlash said.
According to him, the threat exists since Russian aviation can move over long distances in a fairly short time and conducts exercises on the territory of Belarus, using its airfields.
" Therefore, we are ready for different developments, we monitor the movement of aircraft, their takeoffs, use our and partners' intelligence," the Air Force spokesman emphasized.
- On Tuesday, April 2, self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that his country was preparing for war, as it was strengthening its defense readiness.
