"Be like Yaroslav!": Ukrainian soldier shot down four cruise missiles in two days using Igla MANPADS
Warrior Yaroslav from the anti-aircraft missile division named after Hetman Pylyp Orlyk of Air Command South, shot down four Russian missiles with Igla MANPADS within two days
Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine report on Telegram.
"During the two days of a massive missile attack on Ukraine on October 10 and 11, Yaroslav destroyed four Russian cruise missiles with high-precision shots from Igla MANPADS,” the report said.
Yaroslav shared that he always feels excitement during the launch. However, he noted that the main thing is the result.
"After all, an unbeaten cruise missile can cause trouble. A sense of responsibility helps to cope with anxiety and confidently, with a cold mind, launch the missile. I went out, caught the target, accompanied it, pulled the trigger - the missile went off. And quickly reload MANPADS! I disconnected the launcher, connected him to the next "pipe" and continued to work on the goals," Yaroslav said.
Air Forces emphasized that the soldier will be duly recognized by the military leadership for his accuracy and professionalism.
"Yaroslav is a defender! Be like Yaroslav!" Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote.
