Battles take place in direction of Maryinka, Kodema, Husarivka, Russian forces fail offensive in four directions - General Staff 

This is reported by the General Staff of the Ukraine's Armed Forces on Facebook.

In the Siversk direction, Russia shelled Medvedivka districts of Chernihiv region and Krasnopill and Myropillia of Sumy region with barrel artillery.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russia carried out fire damage from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Kharkiv, Lebyazhe, Borshcheva, Dementiiyvka, Korobochkine, Velyki Prokhody, Ruski Tyshki, Stariy Saltiv, Prudyanka, Pytomnyk, Tsupivka.

Made an offensive attempt in the direction of Bayrak - Husarivka, hostilities continued.

In the Slavyansk direction, shelling was recorded near Bogorodychne, Dibrivnr, Mazanivka, Karnaukhivka, Chepil and Husarivka. Russian forces tried to advance in the direction of Dovgenke - Bogorodichne. They were repulsed and forced to retreat.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russia fired near Siversk, Mykolaivka, Starodubivka, Spirnyi, Kryvya Luka, Verkhnokamyanskyi, Hryhorivka, Serebryanka, Raigorodka, and Kalenyky. Conducted an airstrike near Spirny.

Russia led an offensive battle in the direction of Yaremivka - Dolyna, had no success, withdrew.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russia used barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of Yakovlivka, Travneve, Kodema, Pokrovske, Rozdolivka, Kurdyumivka, Zaitseve, Bakhmut and Soledar settlements. Airstrikes near Yakovlivka, Soledar and Kodema.

Russian forces tried to improve the tactical position in the directions Streapivka - Soledar, Dolomite - Travneve, Vidrodzhenye - Vershyna, Pokrovske - Bakhmut, Vasylivka - Yakovlivka, Semihir'ya - Vershina.  The enemy had no success in all the indicated directions and retreated.  Conducts offensive operations in the direction of Novoluhanske - Kodema, hostilities continue.

In the Avdiyivka direction, Russia shelled the districts of Piskiv, Prechistivka, Shevchenko, Volodymyrivka, Nevelskyi, Netaylovy and Krasnohorivka. Russian forces led assaults in the direction of Lozove - Pisky and Vesele - Pisky, but were unsuccessful, withdrew.

In the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhya directions, shelling from artillery and tanks was recorded near Zaliznychny, Varvarivka, Maryinka, Gulyaipol, Novosilka, Gulyaipilsky and Temyrivka. Russia launched an airstrike near Novopol. Fighting continues in the direction of Oleksandrivka - Maryinka.

In the Southern Bug direction, Russia fired from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery in Mykolaiv, Prybuzka and another 25 settlements. Russia continues conducting aerial reconnaissance by drones.

Two sea-based cruise missile carriers are in readiness for the use of high-precision weapons in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas.

"Our fighter aircraft continues to patrol the airspace of Ukraine, and the strike aircraft provides fire support to the units in the designated operational areas," the message reads.
