Battles continue around Bakhmut, Ukrainian Armed Forces cut off the enemy's "claw" looming over city – military expert Zgurets

"There is less information coming from the General Staff, which indicates that certain actions are taking place in some areas that will lead to optimistic conclusions.It should be noted that fighting continues around Bakhmut, where the "claw" looming from the north and south is being cut. Our troops are advancing towards Berkhivka and Klishchiivka (Donetsk Oblast). Yesterday, we witnessed excellent work by the 22nd Artillery Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as they destroyed the enemy in their positions near Klishchiivka. Klishchiivka has now become a town where the enemy maintains a powerful stronghold in the forest belt. Active combat operations are taking place from our side," emphasized Zgurets.

According to the military expert, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue destroying Russian reserves in the south.

"As for the south, actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units directed towards displacing the enemy from their occupied strongholds are taking place in the direction of Orikhiv - Melitopol and Velyka Novosilka - Berdiansk. Combat operations are ongoing in the Rivnopol area and towards Staromykhailivka. The Ukrainian side's tactics remain unchanged - the destruction of reserves through artillery forces. Such actions will determine the overall picture on the battlefield," noted Zgurets.
