"Battle on – and win your battle": Ukraine's Armed Forces tear down Russian poster, find poem by Shevchenko underneath
During the liberation of Balaklia, Kharkiv region, from the invading Russian forces, the Ukrainian military removed a poster with Russian content from the billboard and found a symbolic surprise under it - Taras Shevchenko's poem and his portrait

This was reported by Ukraine's Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.
"Our soldiers with the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Balaklia tear down the Russian poster, under which Taras Shevchenko and his poem were all the time of the occupation. "Battle on – and win your battle". As Taras Hryhorovych commanded," the message reads. The fighter excitedly reads Shevchenko's poem, which was hidden under the poster:
“And glory to you, dark-blue mountains,
Frost and snow protect you.
And to you, great-hearted heroes,
God does not forget you.
Battle on – and win your battle!”
