He expressed this opinion on Espreso.
"Regarding Kherson in the south of Ukraine, there is no need to form excessive expectations. So far, the battle for the south of Ukraine is in the first or important phase. The Ukrainian Armed Forces were able to isolate the fighting by using high-precision missiles against the warehouses and command posts of the occupiers. We are destroying the logistics system, management and air defense of the Russians in the south of Ukraine. Such actions are a prerequisite for active actions on land," Zgurets explained.
The analyst emphasized that it is important for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to destroy ammunition depots and command posts on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.
"If the enemy's command posts have moved from the right bank of the Dnieper to the left, this does not mean that the leadership of the troops has been lost to the enemy. I think that the process of control remains. The only question is that we destroy these command posts on the left bank of the Dnieper," he added.
