Bakhmut is a hill where Russia’s manpower is grinded - military expert Chernyk
Military expert Petro Chernyk says that Bakhmut is a strategic point, it is convenient to hold defense
He shared his opinion with Espreso TV.
"The situation in Bakhmut is actually very difficult, and this is logical. Putin has given the 9th or 10th order for the Russian army to come to the administrative borders of the Donetsk region, but they cannot do it. They still need to occupy at least 10,000 km2. Bakhmut is an objectively strategic point. For the Russians, it is already both political and psychological," emphasized Chernyk.
According to the military expert, Bakhmut is a hill, and it is very convenient for holding defense.
"A huge amount of enemy manpower and equipment is being grinded in Bakhmut. At the same time, if a decision is made to tactically withdraw the Ukrainian Armed Forces from that point, there will be no catastrophe. It is important for us to win the war, battles can be lost. We have no right to lose the war," emphasized Chernyk.
