Bakhmut and outskirts are under solid AFU defense – Deputy Commander Kudriashov
Deputy commander of the 3rd detached assault brigade Major Rodion Kudriashov emphasized that Russia does not give up its intention to capture Bakhmut
He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"The situation in Bakhmut is dynamic and tense. The outskirts of Bakhmut are also under constant enemy pressure. The enemy does not abandon its intention to surround Bakhmut and cut off the logistics connection, but the situation is under control. Bakhmut and the surrounding area are under solid defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," emphasized Kudriashov.
According to the deputy commander, the occupying Russian forces suffered heavy losses due to AFU fire.
"The enemy is losing its offensive potential. The intensity of hostilities has slightly decreased. There are attempts of assault by the enemy, but not so massive," emphasized Kudriashov.
