At the UN, Russia accuses Ukrainian air defense systems and American missiles of destroying civil  infrastructure

Vasily Nebenzya, Russia's permanent representative to the UN, said this at a meeting of Security Council, RIA Novosti reports.

Representative of the aggressor country stated that Ukraine is allegedly placing air defense systems among residential buildings.

"As a result, missile fragments or Ukrainian missiles that have gone astray end up at objects that Russia did not aim at", Nebendzia said.

Russian ambassador also added that missiles that hit residential buildings in Kyiv and Vyshgorod on Wednesday are allegedly "American air defense missiles supplied to Kyiv".

"Your mindless arming of Ukraine is already leading to the death of civilians not only in Donbas, but also in Ukrainian cities," he addressed the West.
