All prisoners were tortured, starved, and not given water - deputy commander of Azov regiment Molfar
Absolutely all the Azovstal defenders that have been released from captivity need help - they are in a very fragile psychological and physical condition. All were subjected to torture.
This was stated on Espreso by the deputy commander of the "Azov" regiment, Molfar.
"Now those released from captivity are given medical care, because absolutely all the boys need this help. They are in a very difficult both moral and physical condition. Torture was applied to all of them. This is confirmed information from their words. The boys tell very scary stories. They need appropriate rehabilitation, they are now being treated in the best facilities. We are doing everything to stabilize their physical and moral condition," he said.
Molfar explained that some of the commanders were in Moscow, some of the prisoners were in Donetsk and Olenivka.
"It can be said that the most terrible place is the pre-trial detention center in Donetsk. Torture was used absolutely everywhere - they starved, we have fighters who lost up to 50% of their weight. They did not give water at all," the military officer emphasized.
