On the night of Monday, May 29, Russian troops attacked a military airfield in Starokonstiantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region. The Air Force has urged not to dramatize the situation
Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, made the statement on the air of the Radio Liberty program Freedom LIVE, Espreso TV reports.
He confirmed the hit within the airfield area.
"There was a hit within the area of the Starokostiantyniv airfield in the Khmelnytskyi region. We do not comment on what happened there, where it hit, what the consequences were. And it is not worth commenting on, so that the enemy does not have additional information," said Ihnat.
He also assured that combat capability will be restored there. "There is no need to dramatize the situation," the spokesman added.
