Air defense systems are on agenda of negotiations between Ukraine and Turkey - Ambassador Bodnar

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey, Vasyl Bodnar, said this on Espreso TV.

"There are many prospects for weapons. There are products that we are already talking about. Turkey itself lacks air defense. Four years ago, Turkey bought the S-400 from the Russian Federation, and  it was sanctioned for this," he said.

Bodnar noted that now the defense industry is seriously developing in Turkey.

"One of the elements is the development of ground-air defense systems. Some are being tested, some are in service. This is one of the topics under discussion between Ukraine and Turkey," Bodnar concluded.
