Air Defense Forces shoot down all Shaheds launched at night

The Russian troops attacked from the southeast (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia) with 14 Shahed-type attack UAVs and a Kh-22 cruise missile from a Tu22m3 aircraft from the same direction.

"As a result of combat operations, the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of the Land Forces and the National Guard, destroyed all 14 enemy Shahed-131/136 drones. Units of mobile firing groups, fighter aircraft and anti-aircraft missile units within the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions were involved in repelling the air attack," the statement says.

The Air Force emphasized that the Kh-22 cruise missile failed to reach its target and fell in the Zaporizhzhia region in an open area, damaging private houses. There were no casualties. 

• In the evening of Tuesday, November 21, Russian forces attacked different regions of Ukraine. Air defense systems were operating in at least 5 regions. A man died in Kherson region as a result of the attack.
