Zelenskyy meets with US Congressmen to discuss additional Patriots for Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with a bipartisan delegation of the US House of Representatives and discussed the supply of additional Patriot air defense systems for Ukraine
He stated this on Telegram on July 1.
Zelenskyy said they talked about getting more American help, especially air defense systems, which are crucial for saving lives and protecting Ukraine's infrastructure.
"I thank US President Joseph Biden, both parties of Congress, and the entire American people for their continued leadership in supporting Ukraine," Zelenskyy added.
In an evening speech, Zelenskyy said Ukraine expects to boost its air defenses and receive more long-range weapons this July.
