Ukraine will receive its first German Lynx KF41 infantry fighting vehicles in early 2026

The corresponding contract was signed in December 2025. The order for the first five infantry fighting vehicles is valued in the double-digit millions of euros, with Germany financing the purchase.
The decision in favor of the Lynx KF41 was made after thorough testing of the next-generation infantry fighting vehicle. The IFVs will be specially configured for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including equipping them with the two-person Lance turret. The next step will be the procurement of additional batches, including production in Ukraine.
Rheinmetall AG CEO Armin Papperger expressed gratitude for the trust shown by Ukraine and to the German government for its support.
