UK to produce Ukrainian interceptor drones

Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this.

Initially, the plan is to produce the first thousand drones — all of which will be delivered to Ukraine.

“Interceptor drones have already proven effective against Russia’s Shahed terror. We will continue to scale these projects, attract investments, and improve technologies to protect Ukrainian cities and civilians from Russian air attacks as efficiently as possible,” emphasized Shmyhal.

During the meeting with John Healey in London, they discussed the practical implementation of the agreement.

“This is a significant step in realizing the century-long partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom. We also reviewed the outcomes of the Ramstein meeting and coordinated issues for the next session in October. We thank the United Kingdom for its leadership and support,” added the Defense Minister.
