According to the minister, Ukraine’s key priorities are ensuring continuous military and financial aid, strengthening air defense systems, and developing joint defense-industrial projects.
“To achieve this, we will hold talks with partner governments and private manufacturers. We expect increased support and the launch of new projects to enhance the security of Ukraine and all of Europe,” Shmyhal said.
- On July 21, the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group — known as the "Ramstein" format — took place online, with representatives from 52 countries attending at the level of defense ministers or their deputies. Ukraine's Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal voiced Kyiv's priority needs and spoke about key decisions from partners.
