Sweden delivers 26 Archer howitzers to Ukraine

The Swedish Embassy in Ukraine announced this.

In September 2025, Swedish Defense Minister Pål Jonson announced the twentieth military support package for Ukraine with a total value of $836 million.

As part of this package, a total of 44 Archer self-propelled howitzer systems and additional 155mm caliber ammunition will be procured, with 18 more to arrive in the future.

In July 2025, Sweden delivered over 10 spare barrels to Ukraine to maintain the operational capability of the Archers, as intensive use of the howitzers led to their rapid wear.
