The Spanish government's press service reported the information.

The document provides for the radar's manufacture by Indra and its transfer to Ukraine to strengthen defense capabilities in air defense and support allied efforts. The estimated value of the agreement is approximately €37 million, and it will remain in effect until December 31, 2026, with no possibility of extension.

The Lanza LTR-25 is a mobile three-coordinate radar station capable of operating effectively in electronic warfare conditions. It is designed to detect and track both aircraft and small targets with low radar signatures, including drones and cruise missiles.

The radar can be transported by C-130 aircraft or trucks, allowing for rapid repositioning. Its detection range for aerial targets exceeds 450 km, and integration with NATO air defense systems enables the transmission of coordinates to air defense assets.

  • On January 14, the European Commission adopted a package of legislative proposals that will allow a €90 billion loan to be provided to Ukraine by the European Union to cover financial and military needs in 2026 and 2027.
