Slovenia joins Czech initiative to purchase ammunition for Ukraine

Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky said that Slovenia supported the Czech initiative to purchase artillery ammunition for Ukraine

It is noted that the Slovenian government will allocate one million euros (about 25 million kroons) for the initiative.

In turn, Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg said that the country would not join the Czech Republic's plan to purchase shells because of its military neutrality.

At the same time, the publication announced Lipavsky's meeting with the foreign ministers of Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, and Austria. They will discuss EU enlargement and functioning, Russian aggression against Ukraine, or migration.
