Norway’s Ministry of Defense announced this.
Norwegian F-35s will be deployed to Poland to support the mission of protecting Polish airspace and the key logistics hub in Rzeszów used for delivering aid to Ukraine.
“This is a vital contribution. We are helping ensure that support to Ukraine reaches its destination, and that Ukraine can continue its fight for freedom,” said the Norwegian Defense Minister Tore O. Sandvik.
- On June 25, it was reported that Norway will provide Ukraine with 6.5 billion Norwegian kroner (about 550 million euros) for the purchase of drones and technologies from Ukrainian and European manufacturers.
