The Ukrainian President’s Office reported the information.

According to the statement, the first package worth $578 million was funded by the Netherlands, the second — $495 million by Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, the third — $500 million by Germany, and the fourth — $500 million by Canada.

Deliveries of the first two packages began in mid-September, and the U.S. has already finalized the contents of the third and fourth packages together with Canada and Germany.

“The initiative is working, providing very active assistance – it is precisely the mechanism that allows us to purchase American weapons with funding from our NATO partners. These include items such as missiles for Patriots and missiles for HIMARS,” the President emphasized.

The U.S. is currently coordinating the fifth and sixth packages with Ukraine, and work has begun on the seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth packages. Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Luxembourg, Belgium, and Iceland have declared readiness to contribute to the fifth package.

Ukraine also expects to further expand the program in October, with the overall goal of adding about $1 billion to it each month.

  • On September 16, Reuters reported that the Trump administration had, for the first time, approved U.S. military aid packages for Ukraine, funded through NATO.
