It is noted that as the US support for Ukraine is being disrupted, the European Union cannot delay and must provide military and financial support to Ukraine.
"This week, Lithuania announced that it would contribute to the Czech initiative by jointly purchasing ammunition for the Ukrainian military, and we also announced the allocation of €5 million for the reconstruction and adaptation of destroyed schools and kindergartens in Ukraine by installing shelters," Skaiste said.
During his visit to Ukraine, the minister visited a kindergarten in Irpin that was rebuilt with Lithuanian money. It is equipped with shelters that meet safety requirements.
