Martin Strizinec, the spokesman for the President of Slovakia, said this, TASR reports.
For security reasons, information about her further program will be published later.
"I've arrived in Kiev today for a farewell visit. This is the fourth time I've been here during my tenure, the third time during the war. I'm also here because I'm bringing good news about Slovakia's assistance to Ukraine," Caputova said.
As the president's term in office is coming to an end, she is making farewell visits to various countries.
- According to political analysts, the situation in the Slovak Republic is currently reminiscent of the situation in Georgia. In both countries, the governments take a pro-Russian stance, and the presidents (both in Georgia and Slovakia are women) are trying to pursue pro-Ukrainian activities.
- Susanna Caputova's presidential term expires in 2024.
