Germany leads Europe with €37 billion in aid to Ukraine since Russian invasion

At the event, Chancellor Olaf Scholz also confirmed that Germany would transfer the sixth IRIS-T air defense system and Patriot launchers to Ukraine by the end of the year. Prime Minister Shmyhal thanked him for his contribution to strengthening the security of Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian prime minister, 53 investment guarantees have already been provided for German projects in Ukraine, totaling almost €382 million.
"I sincerely thank the German business community for their faith in Ukraine. After the full-scale invasion, not a single German company left the Ukrainian market. Moreover, many German companies continue to invest in Ukraine," Shmyhal added.
- On December 11, a Ukrainian government delegation headed by Prime Minister Shmyhal arrived in Berlin to meet with the German leadership and participate in the Ukrainian-German business forum.
