AFU officer Lapin unveils prerequisites for Ukrainian counteroffensive
Special Forces officer and former MP Ihor Lapin emphasizes that the General Staff has plans for the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive
He said this on Espreso TV.
“Today, the Russians have no idea where the main attack, the main counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will come from. We will do reconnaissance by combat and put pressure on different parts of the front to confuse them even more. Ukraine's General Staff has some kind of plans for our counteroffensive. The prerequisites for the counteroffensive include combat reconnaissance, artillery training, and softening the enemy's frontline,” Lapin explained.
According to an Armed Forces officer, the Russians cannot figure out where to concentrate their reserves.
“We are carrying out such actions in different areas, so the Russians cannot understand where to concentrate their reserves to be able to counteract. The Russians are very much chafing at their offensive against our defense, but they have great potential. Preparations are underway on our part. The longer the enemy does not know where our reserves are accumulated and the direction of the main attack, the more lives of our guys will be saved,” Lapin emphasized.
