AFU name two possible reasons for Russia not using Shahed drones

Russia has used Shahed drones against Ukraine for the first time in the past few weeks, possibly receiving a new batch from Iran

The Ukrainian Armed Forces colonel Vladyslav Selezniov said this on the air of the telethon on December 7.

“According to the estimates of some experts, difficult weather conditions and frosts at night do not contribute to the operation of drones,” he explained, noting that the plastic that is part of Iranian drones simply cannot withstand low temperatures.

“Another version is that Russia simply did not have Shahed drones. And now they have received another batch and are starting to use them actively,” Selezniov said.
