President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the US, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands for providing the country with 90 modernized T-72 tanks

Zelenskyy wrote this on Twitter.
"We are sincerely grateful to the Netherlands, the United States and Czech Republic for providing significant and much-needed support – 90 T-72 tanks. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are pushing forward and need this equipment. We value the help of partners. Together we stand for protection of freedom and democracy!", Zelenskyy said.
On November 4, the United States announced a new $400 million aid package to Ukraine, including at least 45 T-72 tanks, 40 armored personnel carriers and 1,100 Phoenix Ghost drones.

Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrainian Foreign Minister, said that Ukraine will receive the first 26 T-72 tanks from a batch of 90 units in December.
