AFU destroy Russian ammunition depot, 22 personnel's concentrations, and repel attacks in 8 settlements

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information of Ukraine in a morning briefing on February 1.

Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian attacks near 8 settlements  in the Donetsk region. 

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation launched 9 attacks on Russian manpower concentrations and 2 attacks on their anti-aircraft missile systems.

Ukrainian missile and artillery forces hit 13 Russian manpower concentrations, 1 control center and 1 ammunition depot.

About 100 Russian soldiers are being treated in a military hospital in Novoivanivka, Luhansk region

The Russian army continues to suffer losses. Thus, another military hospital was set up near Novoivanivka, Luhansk region. About 100 Russian soldiers are being treated there.

The severity of soldiers' injuries is usually underestimated and not recorded in medical records by Russia. After providing minimal assistance, they are sent to the front line, the AFU General Staff says.

Russian troops launch 5 air and 6 missile strikes on Ukraine during the day

On January 31, Russian troops launched 5 air, 6 missile strikes, and more than 65 MLRS attacks.

As a result of the strikes, the civilian infrastructure of settlements in Sumy, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions was damaged.

The threat of Russian air and missile strikes across Ukraine remains high.

Russia continues its offensive on the Lyman and Bakhmut directions

The enemy does not stop its offensive on the Lyman and Bakhmut directions. It suffers heavy losses. It conducts unsuccessful offensives in the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions.

There are no significant changes on the border with Belarus and Russia, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected.

Russian troops launched mortar and artillery fire on 4 settlements in the Sumy region and 9 more in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian fired at the positions of Ukrainian troops near 4 settlements in the Kharkiv region and 2 others in the Luhansk region.

In the Lyman direction, 5 settlements in the Luhansk region were attacked by Russian troops.

In the Bakhmut direction, 11 settlements in the Donetsk region came under Russian fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, 8 settlements in the Donetsk region were shelled by Russian troops.

In the Vuhledar direction, 6 settlements in the Donetsk region were attacked by Russian forces.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, 20 settlements came under fire.

In the Kherson direction, 21 settlements came under MLRS, cannon artillery, and mortar fire. There are civilian casualties.
