AFU destroy 6 Russian Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems, 1 munitions depot on southern front
Ukrainian defenders continue to destroy the occupying Russian forces fighting against Ukraine
Operational Command South (OC South) reported this.
Ukrainian rocket and artillery units destroyed the Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems located on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region and used to shell the right bank.
They also destroyed 12 Russian soldiers, a large-caliber Msta-B howitzer, a Murom-M surveillance system, and a Russian munitions depot.
“The enemy is intensifying aerial reconnaissance in the Mykolaiv sector. For several days in a row, we have been destroying unmanned spies, and over the past day, an Orlan-10 was shot down in the Mykolaiv region,” the OC South writes.

Over the past day, on May 18, the Russian forces fired over 50 artillery shells at the right bank, including twice in the waters of the Dnipro-Buh estuary.
In the Black Sea, the enemy's naval grouping consists of 8 units, and an underwater missile carrier has been brought to its basing point. Three surface missile launchers remain on standby, with a total salvo of about 20 Kalibrs.
