He said this during a roundtable discussion at the White House, according to Clash Report.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the United States has resolved seven wars and is close to settling an eighth. He expressed hope for resolving the “situation” with Russia.

“We settled seven wars. We are close to settling the eight one. I think we will end up settling the Russia situation, — which is horrible, 7,000 people were killed last week, by the way,” Trump said.

It is unclear what data the U.S. president relied on when citing the number of casualties. On September 5, while making statements about Russia’s war against Ukraine, the American leader also said that “7,014 people were killed this week.”

Speaking at the UN General Assembly on September 23, Trump listed all seven wars.

“Some of them lasted 30 years, 31 years, 36 years, one of them lasted 29 years. I stopped seven wars. In those wars, hundreds of thousands of people were killed. This includes Cambodia, Thailand, Congo, Rwanda, Pakistan and India, Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. No president or prime minister, no country has ever done anything like this in history. I did it in just seven months. Nobody has ever managed that before,” Trump said.
