After Russian attack on March 9, 47 thousands consumers in Kharkiv and 50 thousands in Kharkiv region left without electricity
Power supply is being restored in Kharkiv region after a massive missile strike on March 9. At least 520,000 consumers remain without power
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleh Syniehubov.
"Currently, more than 90% of consumers in the Kharkiv region have electricity," the head of the region writes.
It is reported that residents of Vovchansk, Zolochiv and partially Derhachi communities are without electricity.
In Kharkiv, critical infrastructure and some consumers have been powered up, but 470,000 residents and 50,000 people in the region remain without electricity.
"Restoration works are ongoing. Power engineers are doing everything possible to supply power to all consumers as soon as possible," emphasized Synyehubov.
During the day on March 9, Russian occupying forces fired massively from cannon artillery, rocket launchers, mortars and other weapons at the border settlements of Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts.
As a result, residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged.
