After Espreso’s broadcast, Ukrainians raise funds for three Starlinks for military
Yaroslav Lysenko, a soldier of the Svoboda battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine, stressed that the military lacks Starlink on the front line.
He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"On Sunday, during the Espreso marathon, we spontaneously decided to help the fighters in the hottest Donetsk direction and raise funds on Starlink so that the defenders would connect with their brothers and families. Ukrainians are incredible! The whole of Ukraine received from 10 to 2000 UAH. I was impressed by this, I feel supported. People don't just send money, people send emotions. Many thanks to everyone! It is important for our unit to have contact with relatives," Lysenko said.
A soldier of the Svoboda battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine noted that in the first hour after the Espreso broadcast, Ukrainians received money for three Starlinks.
"The guys don't have Starlink on the front. The commander also does not have Starlink. He can not tell mothers, wives and relatives that everything is fine with the guys. If we had more Starlink, then our relatives would be calm and we could quickly understand operational information," Lysenko said.
