The mayor of Irpin, Oleksandr Markushyn, announced this on a joint broadcast of TV channels, Espreso.TV reports.
"I would like to take this opportunity to ask everyone: do not return yet. It is still dangerous in the city. There are shots and shelling, shelling even from “Grad”. Today it is impossible to return. I will definitely tell everyone when it will be possible to return", the mayor said and emphasized that the authorities would still maximally evacuate residents for their safety.
Oleksandr Markushyn also added that now the task is to bury all the dead.According to him, approximately 50% of the city is destroyed, in particular, critical infrastructure. But the authorities will restore everything as much as possible.
