A missile strike on the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia killed 9 people, 17 - wounded, - Regional Military Administration

This was stated by the speaker of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Arefiev in a video message on Facebook.

According to him, among the dead was one State Emergency Service employee, among the wounded - three. All others killed and wounded were civilians.

Arefiev added that 2,277 people (including 624 children) had been evacuated from the region on March 18.

The Regional Military Administration spokesman added that Zaporizhia is actively resisting Russian troops.

"During the day, Ukrainian defenders of the Zaporizhia region destroyed the BTR-82 with the invaders landing and damaged two enemy infantry fighting vehicles, continuing to inflict fire on the enemy both at the front line and in the depths of its operational construction and combat formations - as a result of which the штмфвукі are constantly suffering losses among personnel and armored vehicles," Arefiev said.
