Another 7 Russian servicemen surrendered, while the total number of Russian losses amounted to 428 over the past day. Moreover, 21 units of enemy military equipment were destroyed," emphasized Shtupun.

The spokesman also added that fierce fighting continues in the Avdiivka sector near Stepove.

“Russian enemy is trying to take over the railway, but all Russian units trying to approach Avdiivka Coke Plant are either retreating or being destroyed. The enemy is attacking with infantry because the combat operation of their equipment is hampered by weather conditions and significant losses. That is, if Russia sends armored vehicles forward, 70% of them do not return from the battlefield," said Shtupun.

• According to the General Staff, in total, Russian troops attempted to storm the frontline in 6 areas over the past day. Ukrainian defenders repelled most of the enemy attacks in the Mariinka and Avdiivka sectors and neutralized 1,030 Russian soldiers.
