Death toll rises to 7 after Russian missile hit a high-rise building in Vyshhorod, north of Kyiv
The seventh patient has died in an intensive care unit and another 30 civilians are wounded as a result of missile attack on northern Kyiv’s suburb
Oleksiy Kuleba, the head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration, announced this.
"Kyiv region. As a result of the missile attack, the seventh person has died in the intensive care unit as of now. May the memory about the dead live," he wrote at 8:40 p.m.
Kuleba added that energy workers are continuing repair work in order to restore electricity in the region as soon as possible. About a hundred teams work around the clock. About 70% of Kyiv region residents remain without electricity.
"We will rebuild infrastructure and housing. But we will not return human lives. However, we will take revenge for everyone. Russia will bear responsibility for all crimes," he wrote.
Earlier on Facebook, the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region, Andrii Nebytov, wrote about the six victims of the shelling of Vyshhorod.
Yesterday it was reported that a total of 31 people were injured in Vyshhorod. Today, on November 24, as of 4:47 p.m., it is known that 30 civilians were injured and another six died.
"The city of Vyshhorod appeared 200 years earlier than Moscow and, despite everything, will flourish when it is no longer there, because indomitable Ukrainians live here, who cannot be intimidated by rockets," Nebytov added.
