5.5 million people left Ukraine since the beginning of war - UN

As of May 1, The UN refugee agency has reported that 5,563,959 Ukrainians have left Ukraine because of the Russian invasion.

Most Ukrainians moved to Poland - 3,560,000. The second place holds Romania - 825,000. 681,000 Ukrainian refugees came to Russia.

In other countries:

  •   Hungary - 530,157

  •   Moldova - 447,604

  •   Slovakia - 379,447

  •   Republic of Belarus - 25,002

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) expects about 8.3 million people to leave Ukraine this year.
