5 dead, 13 injured: Russian army hits Mykolaiv with cluster shells
At around 9:57 a.m. on July 29, Russian forces shelled Mykolaiv with cluster munitions, killing 5 people and injuring 13 more
Head of the Mykolayiv Regional Council for Humanitarian Affairs of the region, Hanna Zamazeyeva, shared the news in her Telegram channel.
"There are already 13 wounded and 5 dead," she emphasized.
Vitaly Kim, the head of Mykolayiv Regional Military Administration, wrote in a telegram that the occupiers changed their tactics due to the successes of Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result, on July 28, they shelled the sleeping area of Mykolaiv and damaged many houses. On the morning of July 29, they struck another area.
"Next to the public transport stop, 12 people are lying on the ground. The ambulances are there and are working," noted Vitaliy Kim.
The head of the Administration noted that as of 10:38 it was known about 7 wounded and 5 dead.
He urged people to be careful and hide during the air alert.
