38,000 Ukrainian refugees are in Sweden, one third of them children
12,000 Ukrainian children have been housed in Sweden since Russia started the war in Ukraine. 38,000 Ukrainian refugees are housed throughout the country. The Swedish Ambassador to Ukraine Andriy Plakhotnyuk shared these updated figures.

Media Center Ukraine reported the official information on their platform.
"Swedish for 200% stay with Ukrainians. Always. From bringing things to internally displaced persons, providing them with shelter to even offering to donate blood. Support is also felt because Ukrainian flags are everywhere, the demonstrations are regularly held in support of Ukraine," said Andriy Plakhotnyuk.
Sweden provides Ukrainians great support, both the state and ordinary people.
After the Russian invasion, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, over 6.4 million Ukrainians left for Sweden.
