38 countries have already applied to the international court because of Russian aggression in Ukraine

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that 38 countries have filed the largest number of appeals to the International Criminal Court due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

According to Censor.NET, Johnson tweeted about this.

"Tonight, 38 countries from around the world filed the largest appeal to the International Criminal Court for Russia's barbaric invasion of Ukraine. It is very clear to us that Putin cannot commit these terrible acts with impunity", Johnson said.

According to Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova, among the countries that have applied to the ISS are Great Britain, Albania, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

"A special big thanks to Lithuania, which was the first country to make a separate appeal", Venediktova wrote on Facebook.
