The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report on Facebook.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to October 17 amounted to:

personnel - about 65,320 (+320 per day) 

tanks - 2, 537 (+8)

armored fighting vehicles - 5205 (+12) 

artillery systems - 1,599 (+10)

MLRS - 366 (+1)

air defense systems - 187 (+1)  

aircraft - 268

helicopters -  242

vehicles and tank trucks - 3, 969 (+10)

ships/boats - 16 

UAV operational-tactical level - 1, 241 (+17)

special equipment - 144 (+1)

cruise missiles - 316 

On October 17, Russian troops suffered the greatest losses in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.
