3 000 UAV operators join Ukraine's Drone Army

Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this.

The soldiers underwent theoretical and practical training, during which they learned how to operate reconnaissance copters, FPV drones and bombers. 

The operators have successfully passed the exam and are ready to use their skills to destroy Russian equipment at the front.

The minister said that the second stage of UAV operators' training is now underway. During the first stage, 10 thousand professional operators were trained, and in June, the second stage was launched, during which another 10 thousand soldiers are to be trained.

So far, 5 special schools have joined the Army of Drones, teaching operators to "be invisible in the hottest areas, perform reconnaissance and hit the target."

"Training is a top priority for the Drone Army. Only professional operators can effectively use the drone's functionality for reconnaissance, artillery adjustment and destruction of Russian equipment. We continue to work to ensure that the soldiers have more drones and are able to operate them efficiently," wrote Mykhailo Fedorov.
