15 energy facilities damaged in Ukraine as a result of Russian missile attack
Russia's massive missile attack on November 15 resulted in damage of 15 energy infrastructure facilities of Ukraine
This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
According to him, as a result of the strikes, 15 energy infrastructure facilities were damaged across Ukraine. Emergency power shutdowns are ongoing to stabilize the system.
Tymoshenko added that the enemy fired more than 90 missiles at Ukraine, 70 of them were shot down by air defense forces.
As Yury Ihnat, the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, clarified on Espreso TV, on November 15, the Russian forces fired more than 100 missiles at Ukraine, surpassing the attack on October 10.
The enemy launched a massive missile attack at a number of areas. Explosions rang out in Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, Zhytomyr and other cities. Air defense was operating in many regions, in particular, a missile was shot down over Sumy region .
After the attack the emergency blackouts have been introduced across Ukraine.
