13 Russian soldiers surrender, 489 are eliminated in Tavria direction
Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 8 Russian tanks, 3 armored personnel carriers, 10 UAVs, 4 vehicles and 5 ammunition depots. They also eliminated 489 Russian soldiers, while a further 13 surrendered
Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, reported the information.
He noted that the Russian army conducted a total of 7 air strikes, 51 combat clashes, and 759 artillery attacks.
"Missile and artillery units of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops performed 1,217 fire missions over the last day. Total enemy losses amounted to 489 people. Thirteen occupiers surrendered," informed Tarnavskyi.
The commander added that Ukrainian troops destroyed 25 units of Russian military equipment, including 8 tanks, 3 armored personnel carriers, 10 UAVs, 4 vehicles and 5 Russian ammunition depots.
"The offensive operation in the Melitopol direction continues," noted Tarnavskyi.
On October 11, the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, reported that the Ukrainian military had improved their tactical position west of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia direction.
