12 air targets allegedly downed in Belgorod region, Russia
The governor of Russia's Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, claimed that 12 air targets were destroyed near Belgorod

He reported this on Telegram.
Gladkov says that the air defense system was active in the city and the surrounding area. It destroyed the targets that were coming towards the center of the district.
"Over Belgorod and the Belgorod district, our anti-aircraft system was in action. It successfully took down 12 airborne targets as they were getting close to the city. The authorities are currently finding out more about the situation on the ground," the message says.

On Sunday morning, August 20, in the Russian city of Kursk, a Ukrainian drone attacked a railway station, resulting in injuries to 5 people. Additionally, Russian anti-aircraft fire reportedly brought down a Ukrainian drone as it approached Moscow.
