10 more Ukrainian soldiers released from Russian captivity
Ukraine was able to free 10 Ukrainian defenders and return the body of a US citizen Joshua Alan Jones, killed while fighting in Ukraine

"Our people are back home. As part of the prisoner exchange, we managed to bring home 10 Ukrainian servicemen. An officer and nine privates and sergeants were released," the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, wrote in his recent Telegram post.
He added that the body of an American volunteer, US Army veteran Joshua Alan Jones, who fought for Ukraine and died fighting the Russian invaders, was also returned.

On October 17, 108 women returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity. Among the Ukrainians released from captivity are 12 civilians, others are personnel of the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Special Transport Service.
