Zgurets: Soon we expect qualitative changes on Kherson’s right bank
Serhiy Zgurets, head of the information and consulting company Defense Express, notes the Armed Forces never stormed Ukranian cities head-on in liberation operations.
Zgurets shared his thoughts with Espreso TV.
"The enemy is getting ready to defend Kherson. Attacking the city is a difficult tactical task. The Armed Forces of Ukraine never stormed any city head-on in the course of this war before. It is necessary to create conditions so that it is impossible for the enemy to supply Kherson. We should set up a dense artillery blockade around the city and wait when they themselves will start looking for options to escape. The enemy will certainly resort to escape, but we should push them to do so," Zgurets said.
According to the expert, we can soon expect qualitative changes on the right bank of the Kherson region.
"We will not storm Kherson head-on, but we will create the preconditions. We will break the spirit of the Russian units that remain in Kherson. This will be an impetus for further change on the entire right bank and will have an impact on the Kherson operation," Zgurets emphasized.
