The "peace plan", which provides only for a "ceasefire", will mean further occupation of Ukraine by Russia. Kyiv's position is to withdraw all Russian troops.

Mykhailo Podolyak, Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office, wrote about this on Twitter, commenting on China's so-called peace plan.
"Any "peace plan" with ceasefire only and, as a result, a new demarcation line and continued occupation of Ukrainian territory isn’t about peace, but about freezing the war, Ukrainian defeat, next stages of Russian genocide," Podolyak said.
"Ukrainian position is known - the withdrawal of Russian troops to the borders of 1991," he added.
China has published a document with a position on the "political settlement" of Russia's war against Ukraine. In an official statement, China did not support Ukraine, but called for an end to "unilateral sanctions." The document calls the war a "crisis".
